I want to introduce you to the poorest city in America, which coincidentally is also the furthest you can possibly go from the coast. It's 94% native american.

OP of >>331 here. People liked the idea of creating a sharing thread, so I decided to do just that. I'll be uploading my favorite stuff here. If you have stuff you want to upload, feel free to do so.
is this a metal general or black (and otherwise underground) metal only? are torrents allowed or does anyone use torrent here? im looking for a new /t/ home since 4chan went to shit
>>16292 The scientific method came from the Greeks, and Christianity held it back. Christian art was worse than Greek art and we only advanced when we went back to the greeks and co to her where they left off. Christianity would have left is where Islam is today if we had never started to delve into Greek philosophy 500 years ago. Watch this video to see why that's true and stop being a moron. https://youtube.com/watch?v=5GjCRWeG_AQ [Embed]
>>16293 Nice cartoon, I recommend SALO and Men Behind The Sun.
>and we only advanced when we went back to the greeks Yes, the buttfuckers of boys as a norm instead of a dirty secret, they were very good at progressivism. As you failed to read from earlier (I understand, too little color and sound), thanks to this so many more people lived and died in a 1/10 of the same timeframe that their combined contributions stacked up that much faster. And they polluted the planet as well. You're just an opportunist who is happy that all the coal miners died way before you, but you're not going make people contribute the sacrifice of a coal miner to give same kind of advancement to your offspring. Neither did Catholics and neither did the Greeks, in the long term.
For all it's potential freedom of thought today is regardless used to wield the same kind of moralizing as Catholic church did in their day: "don't buttfuck enough children to quantify the amount of friction energy needed to launch yourself into space". What's the common atheist's position on that? Be comfortable just where you are just like the Catholics were and become a complete hypocrite? Or ignore the moralizing and become the beacon of progressivism atheism can only be to achieve anything. Atheism is only validated by its absolute amoralism, otherwise it's the same shit everybody else does, maybe with extra smugness.
There is no God, no Afterlife, no whatever. You turn into literal shit after some low-life microorganisms(the first ones to do so resides in your intestines) digest your dead body. I'm sorry.

How much more advanced would the South be today if they hadn't been racists? No one wants to buy anything from the South. There's nothing in the South that's worth traveling to see. If they weren't assholes you would have cities like New York all over the South.
I am no American, I am talking according to my observations so far, I think the difference between the regions could be rooted within the conservative lifestyle the South is known with. Conservatives tend to hold on to traditions and resist to change, this characteristic of the Southern people could be used to explain the technological, cultural and environmental differences between the corresponding regions.
Enjoy the current world while it lasts, the human species is about to increase in its level of advancement extremely quickly, and the reason why should already be evident to you if you have been observant. I'm sorry.
What happened to all the scizos on Endchan? The posting style seems to have changed dramatically over the last year. Sad.
It just dawned on me that the "b" in /b/ has always stood for "cluster b" as defined by DSM5.
Probably.
And this is why I've refused to deal with any big corps localizing shit. This time the culprit is Crunchy Roll who are looking to monopolize the anime subbing scene as well.
>>11444 >>11445 At least post the key points you pile of fucking garbage.
>CrunchyRoll’s community team for the English release of the mobile dungeon crawler, DanMachi: Memoria Freese, revealed in a recent Reddit thread that they decided to censor the game for the Western audience due to what they felt was and wasn’t appropriate for said audience.
>The “touching” feature was removed from the English version of the game, yes.
>The community was not at all pleased with this turn of events.
Put fourth some effort and at least TRY to get people interested in the shit you post about.
>>11446 Nigger this is not 8chan/pol/ you fucker, if you can't read an article and need green text to do it for you, you shouldn't be posting anywhere on endchan in the first place.
I'm going to start posting news articles in this thread sometimes for as long to avoid posting under a BO that has censored my threads before. For starters New York wants to remove a piece of art from a museum because you can barely see a girl's underwear. Americans are stupid puritans that don't mind glorifying violence but freak out if you ever show boob on TV.
>>16323 It reminds me of that stuck up ignoramus in that movie who wouldn't let his professor describe a basic business model before he interrupted him. (The actor in real life never even went to college.) You teach people by starting with a simple model, and then you fill in the details in a later lecture. Otherwise the details just distract them from seeing what you want them to learn first.
I have this autistic thing where I can't play newly released games if they're a sequel, I need to start from the very beginning (even if it started on DOS originally) so I can indulge the entire experience (primarily surrounding lore/story). Though during this method of playthrough, I realised that a lot of retro video games aren't really worth going back to in terms of story, especially since a lot of older games focused entirely on gameplay instead of narrative. I figured I'd start a thread for anons to ask where it would be necessary to start in a series so that other anons can give their opinion.
I figured out the idea for this thread when I was playing Metal Gear through the Metal Gear series, but I only realised that it was pointless to be playing until Solid Snake 3. At this stage, I'd like to know where you think it'd be necessary to start in the Tom Clancy games;
>Rainbox Six >Ghost Recon >Splinter Cell
Add other game series if you already have a good idea of where to start.
>>16318 I've been camping so overindulged because nothing else to do; if only there were some way to have teleported half the food to you to have reached a perfect middle-ground.
Where is a good place to study? Lately I have started going to Starbucks as it is easier to study with fewer distractions. I do not like Starbucks much, but I can sit there for 3 hours and get a little work done, unlike if I am at home, and the library has no music.
Why don't you study home?
I mean, it's the best place of all.
If you are in a huge families (your parents did a good job), then I can understand.
But if it's because you can't force yourself to work, then you need discipline. Because you'll not only work for college in your life. You'll have side projects during your life, so you NEED to find a right way to work. I don't know what is your situation, but having a working desk (even a working room like our fathers if you have money) is the best.
Why do people use beaded curtains? They look tacky and they're a pain in the butt to walk through, and yet they don't actually block sound or give any privacy at all. They're useless obstructions.
>>15424 I suppose I can see your point. While the Constitution is still - in my eyes - a dogmatic, slave paper, it's not as if the rest of this country is free from slavery anyway; it's the best form of slavery this planet has until the next ideological revolution comes to provide a better world.
>why are YOU telling us we need to change our constitution I don't want you to change your constitution, I want there to be a better world than what's already presented.
>We leave that up to the Supreme Court I don't trust any Supreme Court to prioritise the nation over themselves; being in the Supreme Court would make you feel beyond the responsibilities of those in the Supreme Court.
The void gazes into you and all that.
>any president we elect Elections are heavily controlled, and most of the candidates are all tied together as friends anyway in one way or another.
>left to right to left to right Left vs Right politics is used to make people feel like they have the ability to change. I understand where you're coming from when you talk about your theory of balancing out, I usually saw it as a pendulum though; same concept nevertheless.
>no guys seriously, i look beautiful. let me explain girl faggot when you have to convince niggers that you're attractive then you're clearly not fucking pretty
How foolish can one be when attempting to explain the complexities of global politics, an issue of such large proportions that one could not begin to comprehend it? To firstly understand the human-controlled scape, one must first understand the human, that is, the human psychology, that which dictates the thought and actions of an individual, and therefore, the way that the human world shall develop. There is of course, a solution to this problem, a solution which is capable of the rapid and efficient congregation of data to form a view of the world, but such a solution lies far in the future and is certain to change the world when it arises, perhaps an improved human mind, far quicker and more logical, and such a solution will result in either the rapid advancement of the human species, or perhaps its destruction, after all, humans at times can be unpredictable...
Most of us humans inherently want to be left alone, and be free to live their own lives as long as they do not go around killing people.
Then you have a subgroup of humans that are power hungry despots and control freaks who wish to enhance their own power by any means necessary. Unfortunately these collectivists tend to form groups and join organizations with the interest of increasing centralized power. The State, if you will, and it will grow and grow until completely fiscally insolvent - not to mention atrocities committed in the name of power along the way.
There is an even smaller subgroup which tend to seek justice when crimes have been committed and they also tend to form groups and join organizations that are in power. These people do not hold bad intentions (unlike the other subgroup), but will they follow orders (no matter how necessary or draconian) because they intend to keep peace.
>>16267 That is one of the problems with governments, the people that should be of control of it and the actual governmental entity are separate, and this results in a great internal divide in the country where people are left in a position of little independence and power and the government oversees all and is unquestionable. A government in my eyes should be a coalition of individuals of a particular area looking towards the betterment of themselves such as the building of roads or a dedicated police force to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Look at how absolutely bloated the United States government is, the shelves upon shelves of legislation and laws and deep levels of corruption by those who gained their positions through their possession of money and ability to advertise themselves.
>>16270 Exactly. It is very unfortunate that governments tend to attract the worst of the worst people (those who desire to corrupt and abuse their authority for their own selfish interests). Our Founders were very smart in regards to the US Constitution... however I think they underestimated future problems such as political lobbying and career politics. If there were two things that should have been added to our constitution it would be: 1) mandatory term limits and 2) a complete ban on political lobbying / bribery - specifying lobbying/bribery as a form of treason and mandated publicized death penalty for ALL involved. This way no politician would dare exploiting their authority to enrich themselves and other special interests.
people trying to make laws with the objective of making the world a somewhat better place to live in and for life to be a better experience and some suitniggers trying to abuse the law's for exclusively personal benefit, trying to read too deep into it will only make you lose your focus
>>16280 Bureaucracy often empowers those "suitniggers trying to abuse the law's for exclusively personal benefit." So limits on bureaucracy is healthy to society.
This is a thread for documenting the development of my video game, W.O.R.M. Gear Online (subject to change in the future). I've been working on this for about 3 months now. Most of the Client/Server code is already done, because I'm salvaging it from a more ambitious project that was already quite developed. W.O.R.M. Gear Online is a 3D FPS, except instead of translating along the ground, the player is a flying drone, so we can translate vertically as well. The bulk of the weapons and drones are finished being developed, but still need a lot of fine tuning (e.g., is the shotgun too weak/OP?). I would also like to say that I'm on the look out for a level designer, and/or anyone else willing to contribute as a tester when the alpha is released. It's all so tiresome as a 1 man "team." Anyways, I keep my chin up, and plod on as always. Nietzsche once said, "An artist needs only his art, and his bread." In those days, paint and brushes were much simpler, notwithstanding period-blood paintings. Happy trails, lads. Will post progress here.
>>11220 Cool bukkake, anon. Want to bring it to the whitehouse? We should inspire more kids like you to make bukkake videos with anime toys. It's what makes America great.
Today I put in a timer that coincides perfectly with a timer running on the server... unless the player joins in the middle of a game... Also fixed some minor bugs.
Welp, I ended up getting a normal job as a software dev and no longer have much time to devote to this game. Plus, I sincerely doubt the world needs another unity game, let alone an FPS. I'm now working on my own game engine, when I have the time, which is much more rewarding - I'm learning all sorts of cool stuff about linear algebra, shaders, and so on. Peace and joy to you all, faggots.
How long do I have to play this game before it gets good? I tried it a few months ago but the combat felt clunky and weird and the quests were overly scripted. Only got a few hours in. I liked Witcher 1 though.
I got to the first? fight with the bald snake school witcher guy and the story split that's probably like a third or a quarter into a game. It is still pretty clunky at that point I'd say but not horribly so. I'd have kept going but my computer took a shit.
Well, that's that. I'm not sure how long until this too becomes obsolete information, but for now there's going to be some more support for the 3DS, at least breaking the pattern of pushing a neat leftover hardware out (GBA Micro, Wii Mini, 2DS XL) just before the console's official death.
>>11404 >When is Microsoft going to get into the handheld console market? Sony needs to get back into it too. Nintendo's motivation is to make the tech anyway, so they're satisfied with returns enough to cover the fact that they're able to make their platform exist. In the grand scheme handheld gaming is not lucrative compared to international corporate interest like movies and OS. Microsofts and Sony's game R&D sections are also relatively small and they tend to treat it some kind of a given, like they're still forcing themselves into the market without the will being there just because the demand is there. My guess is that nobody really knows how to make the hardware manufacturing sector grow, despite the software being a massive market.
That's what I see in the background, different reasons may mold how the companies react to this. I think microsoft is about to grab towards gaming through windows 10 ubiquity attempts so that would mean MS handheld is just a matter of time. Probably in the form of Games for Windows mobile for android devices, to compete with Steam.
>These processing apparatuses are located inside stand-alone screens, and by touching two or more of them together, information can be relayed between them in order to produce new game experiences. Examples in the patent application show a finger being dragged from one screen to another without the system losing track of it, as well as a ball that seamless moves across the connection between the two. The screens don’t need to be necessarily making physical contact either, as one of the images shows a gap between the two with the ball still able to move from one to the next — perhaps more impressive is the ability to “bank” a ball off of the air so it approaches the second screen from a different angle
